I dealt directly with Holly Pickens. She did a FANTASTIC job and I couldn't have expected more. She answered all of my questions and concerns with immediate responses. After some suggestions from Holly, we had immediate offers on our house and it sold unbelievably quickly. She connected me with financing for my new home, and legal help for my closing. All were top notch and super helpful. Highly recommended

Excellent!!! The Pickens/Placko team is amazing! I didn't know what price to ask for my house. They found recent houses that were purchased in my neighborhood, adjusted the price based upon my circumstances and gave me the the price that would fair. I had two offers right away. They advised me to take the second, better offer and we closed in just a little over a month! They took care of everything! I had no worries! They know their market and give great advice.

We needed to sell our parent's home and met with several realtors. We immediately knew Holly and Margaret were the right agents for us by the kindness they showed and compassion they had for our family when selling the home our parents built and we grew up in. It wasn't just business to them. They understand the emotion that goes into selling a home. We received great advice on what we needed to fix versus leave as is. They also did an excellent job to help us stage the home and get photos that truly depict what a lovely home and yard it was. The marketing was phenomenal. There was a constant stream of showings from the day we listed to the day we sold. Whereas my father was the seller, they had to work through me (the daughter) for everything from contracts, showings, offer negotiations, etc. Holly showed incredible patience working with us as we navigated through a variety of questions from buyers and discussed options/answers with my elderly father. In the end, we sold at a price we expected and had white glove service for the closing. I will recommend Margaret and Holly to anyone looking to buy or sell in the Chicagoland area. They really and truly know their stuff. I actually miss talking to Holly! What a pleasurable person to work with.
